I must have been more worn out than I thought because I woke up in the middle of the night, still sprawled out on my bed. I hadn't even gotten under the covers nor near the pillows. My body felt so relaxed after the much needed relief I had gotten earlier that night.

I remember falling asleep the night before thinking how nice it would be to be lazy and pampered the next day, which was Father's Day, and looking forward to a few small gifts from my wife and my three daughters, and wondering if my son would come back from college for a visit.
